Backed by Y Combinator (W11)

Building the real-time index of the global tech economy.

Founded in Silicon Valley and backed by Y Combinator, MixRank was born from a simple belief: modern revenue, product, and investment teams deserve deterministic data that updates as fast as software changes.

From YC W11 to Petabyte-Scale Real-Time Ingestion

When we started MixRank in the Y Combinator Winter 2011 batch, data intelligence was largely a world of quarterly PDF reports and static directory dumps. We realized that every day, thousands of developers push app store updates, change their SDK architectures, and launch new web services.

We pioneered automated decompilation of mobile app packages and continuous web technographic scanning. Today, MixRank processes millions of APK and IPA binary changes, monitors over 100M domains, and delivers real-time intelligence feeds to hundreds of high-growth companies, hedge funds, and enterprise platforms worldwide.

Our Principles

How we approach data engineering.

The principles that guide our crawling infrastructure, verification algorithms, and customer data contracts.

Deterministic Ground Truth

We refuse to sell inferred approximations. Every data point we provide is rooted in a store binary, DNS header, or verified registry.

Hourly Execution Velocity

Data decays continuously. Our distributed crawl architecture operates around the clock to detect shifts the hour they happen.

Engineers Serving Engineers

We build for data teams, quantitative hedge funds, and developers who demand direct Snowflake shares, Parquet dumps, and clean REST endpoints.
